Finally Unpacked

We had two vendors at our quilt retreat. I bought more than I thought. One book, 8 fat quarters, one 1/2 yard cut, one pattern and a new product by Superior Threads called Texture Magic. Everything is finally unpacked and my sewing room back in order. Today I need to put a label on a baby quilt and get it in the mail for our newest great granddaughter, Joanna Storm. Then on to Christmas projects. have a great day!

First post

This is my first post. I have been quilting for five years. I started quilting when I lived in the Great White North, to keep from getting cabin fever. I learned to sew when I was seven, so this was a natural progresion for me. I hope to find all my friends from my old blog on My Quilt Blog.
It was a busy summer trying to keep up with the garden and getting everything put up. Now that fall is here it is time to quilt. I just returned from our Fall quilting retreat. I had alot of fun, but didn't get much done. I have done nothing but make baby quilts lately and it is time to switch gears and get into Christmas gift mode. Hope to hear from all you quilters out there.
